Here's what I've heard while researching around the internet... I don't necessarily advocate for or against any of the following positions:
Possibly a Carribean-based operation connected with debt "scamming."
You'll probably receive multiple calls.
They may be calling on both your home and mobile, suggesting they're not just calling a number and fixating on it at random. You were chosen for a reason.
They'll claim to have a "debt claim" against you.
On the other hand, at least one person had an old payday loan that supposedly this place was calling about.
They won't leave you alone (at least for a little while).
Apparently they have been confused with a (legitimate) company called National Recovery, and use a surprisingly similar name. At least one company is apparently for real.
One place you might find some interesting information is at 800notes.com.
Got anything to add to this? What do you know?

407-512-0644: No, it's not the Bahamas calling
Free reverse telephone number search for (407) 512-0644:
So, if you're like me, today you received a text with an obvious scam in it:"From: qonymi@cruisemobile.net
Enjoy your trip to the Bahamas!
Contact us for details 1-407-512-0644"
And that's about all there is to reversing this phone number. The area code comes back to Orlando, but I don't think that means anything here.
Anyone else having this problem?

Update as of 11/28/13: They may be using a predictive dialer, in case you are getting multiple calls where they appear to just ring a few times then hang up before/after you answer the phone.
877-874-5811
(877) 874-5811
[Last updated 8/23/16:] Some people are saying this, 877-874-5811, is "College Center" and they immediately start asking you personal questions like when you graduated from college. One could imagine that if you didn't graduate from college, your answer of "I didn't graduate from college" would be recorded as well.
